This is a certified Disney classic. I've never seen Aladdin before, I'm not lying (or am I?) No, I'm not, I've only seen a few scenes and musical numbers but I've never watched the whole movie (and I'm glad I did now in my adulthood). This film is Disney at its best, the songs are breathtaking, the visuals are so ambitious, I can see that the animators poured their souls into every frame, not only after the genius but also before. I watched this film in my native language version, but even so the essence of Robin Williams' original performance was preserved. I love the characters in this animation (except Jasmine's father) Aladdin is cute, Jasmine is amazing (she's already feminist enough, Disney, you didn't need to ''emmawatsonfy'' her), Jafar is gay even when he's straight and the animals sidekicks are fun (the rug is also an animal sidekick, ok?) I didn't say anything about the Genie because people have already written millions of essays about him and I agree with all of them, Robin Williams' Genie is his own entity in the film.
